Because I don't like slick hucksters and religious fanatics only makes me at unity with those of like mind. It's not a pack mentality to dislike the same things. Rick is obnoxious, unlikable and I don't care if Jesus says I have to love him. A jerk is a jerk and a disturber is a disturber. If you get some special warm fuzzy feeling by "loving" him more power to you. I used to do that as a witness, I loved all the ahole's because Jehovah said to do so and wait on him. I'm not waiting any longer, I'm using my brain and making my own choices. Rick is counterproductive.

How Did You View The Elders?

they needed their approval and wanted to be well spoken of by them.. i know some who can't stand elders and regard them as pests, always looking for some dirt on somebody.. i know some who liked maybe one or two but regarded the majority as unqualified.. how did you view the elders??

by Lady Lee ina few people know that dr. penton, grace/mouthy and i participated in a series of interviews about the jws.
the producer/director of the vhs videos, james kohl, has been working to update the videos and release the series in dvd format.. i am thrilled the videos will be soon available.
kohl had done a few other interviews but they were never released.

Invisible Children Inc, who seeded this video don't allow their financials to be audited, they're rated poorly by some major charity watchdog groups, and only 31% of their money actually goes to helping people according to one financial statement they did release. And Kony himself hasn't been seen or active in any guerrilla organizations since 2006. (or 2008, depending on the source. There are conflicting reports on this due to the lack of media in the region.) He's not the problem, its the mindset of the LRA that needs to be changed. Most are calling the response to the video as "white guilt." Don't beleive everything you see on the internet.

granted, there could be a superior intelligence that could have set certain events in motion but i do not believe there is a loving heavenly father who gives a rats ass about humanity!
its just that in all of recorded history, the human race has suffered (and continue's to suffer) a great deal.
